A Wairarapa team which visited Miramar yesterday won only one game in the fourball and halved one in the singles. The following are the results, the Miramar players being mentioned first in each instance:— Fourballs. J. R. Smith and D. S. Halley beat K. H. Allen and W. H. Bowles, 3 and 2. D. R. Richmond and J. W. Sandham lost to G. O'Neale and J. Crawford, 2 and 1. A. B. Buxton and A. Marsden be:at W. G. Russell and C. H. Armstrong, 2 and J. Crawford and 'C. V. Sutherland beat H. R. Bloxam and E. F. Trustrum, 4 and 3. A. M. Tartakover and T. Day beat H. McCarthy and J. W. Card, 7 and 6. Singles. Smith beat Rowles, 1 up. Halley beat Allen/3 and 2. Richmond beat O'Neale, 6 and 5. Sandham beat Crawford, 4 and 3. Armstrong beat Russell, 5 and 4. Marsden beat A.B. Buxton, 1 up. Crawford beat Bloxam, 5 and 3, Sutherland beat Trustrum, 3 and 1. Tartakover beat.McCarthy, 2 and 1. Day and Card, all square. The best round of the day was done by Armstrong in the singles, 73.
