Directors of Taranaki (N.Z.) Oil Fields, NX., in their annual report, express hopes that negotiations overseas will result before long in a resumption of active.drilling in the Dominion. Work during the year ended April 30 was reduced to a minimum consistent with maintenance of plant and oil rights. Net expenditure was £517, which increases the development account to £206,223. Moturoa Oil Fields, Ltd., in which the company holds a one-third interest, paid a preference dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum for the two years ended August 31, 1934. The Taranaki company holds 5300 of these shares.
