ST. JOHN AMBULANCE

HUTT RAILWAY DIVISION

The divisional superintendent presided over the monthly meeting of the Hutt Railway Division of the St. John Ambulance held recently. The practical work of the evening was under the control of Corporal H. I. Chappell. Messrs. W. S. J. Butcher and S. W. G. Rees, two new members, were welcomed.

Ambulance Officer A. B. Gray was appointed to represent the division at the Lower Hutt meeting in connection with the Health Stamp campaign and was instructed to inform the meeting that the division intended using Health Stamps on its correspondence. Arrangements were made to "man" the Hutt Recreation Ground during the cricket season.

The division extended its sympathy to Mrs. Barclay and the district /Staff in connection with the death of District Officer L. Barclay.
