BYLAW PROSECUTIONS

Prosecutions under the Wellington city bylaws were dealt with by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court.today. Mr. A. R. Cooper prosecuted. ■ •

For parking offences, Kenneth Ainslie, iulius Barron, Kenneth Alfred Biggs, Albert Foster, Russell Fisher, Abraham Fine, Frederick Hislop, Paul Ketko, Noel Kenning, George Alexander Sinclair, Cuthbert Stewart, 'Norman Roy Smallbone, Irvine Tansley, and Esmond George Whale were each fined 10s and costs.

For not having adequate driving lights, Frank Creswell was fined 10s Find costs.

For failing to have a rear vision mirror, Roy Ferris was fined 20s and costs and Jack Warwick Wilson was convicted and ordered to pay Court costs.

For failing to observe the right-hand rule, David Greig was fined £1 and costs.

For failing to obtain a certificate of registration of a motor-car, Messrs. Hill and Hughes were fined £1 and costs.

For driving a taxi at an excessive speed (38 miles per hour) along Jervois Quay, Frederick Neale was fined £2 and costs.

Percy Malcolm Sebire, for failing to obtain a heavy traffic licence, was fined 10s and costs and for failing to obtain a hire licence was also fined 10s and costs.

For allowing stock to wander, Percy Shotter was convicted and ordered to pay. Court costs.
