PAREMATA CLUB
There was a good attendance of members at.the annual meeting of the Paremata Yacht Club, held in the clubhouse last weekend. Two new trophies have been presented for, competition during the coming season, which will open on Sunday, October 18, one by Mr. R. W. Bothamley and the other by Mr. A. Colnian. The trophy donated by Mr. Colman will be known as the Burrow Memorial Cup, in memory of the late Mr. J. Burrow, a well-known official of the club for many years, and a popular figure at the annual Easter reeattas, who died during the year. The following officers were elected: —Patron. Mr. F. Brady; , vice-ttutfoil, Mr. A. McKenzie; .president, Mr., A. Colman; commodore, Mr. A. Shearer; vice-commodore, Mr. C. Highet; rearcommodore, Mr. W. Mclntosh; starter and hanriicapuer. Mr. L. p. Meier; secretary, Mr. G. Fisher; assistant secretary. Mr. L. D. Meier;"treasurer, Mr. S. Wood; general committee. Messrs. A. Stirling, G. Rowntree. J. Holmes, J. Colman, J. Burrow, T. Shaw, and F.
