WORSER BAY CLUB
The annual general meeting of the Worser Bay Boating Club was held in the clubhouse, Worser Bay, on Monday evening.
The following officers were elected for the 1936-37 season:—Patron, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop; president, Mr. J. E. Ramsey; vice-presidents, the Hon. R. Semple, Captain W. J. Keane, Messrs.. E. Glennie, A. V. Swanson, A. C. Kitto, G. Charman, R. T. Arkley, G. Davies, Chapman, Mawson, S. Brailsford, Silver, and F. Harlen; commodore, Mr. F. Mumford; vice-commodore, .Mr. H. Robinson; rear-commodore, Mr. E. Pahl; hon. secretary-treasurer, Mr. G. Cain; trustees, Messrs. A. C. Bellamore, G. Charman; handicapper and timekeeper, Mr. F. Christensen; judge and starter, Mr. A. C. Bellamore; auditor, Mr. D. Toy; racing secretary and re--1 porting steward, Mr. R. T. Arkley; general committee, ex officio members and Messrs. R. Kerr, D. Bell, W. Jones, L. Bristow, L. Cook, D. During the course of the evening's discussion it was decided to revert, to the Mark Foy system of starting, starts to be on the wind.
A new system of points allotment for the season's racing was adopted. This system is based on that used' in the Campbell Cup trials last year.
