CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.

Damages amounting to £160 were awarded by Mr. F. F. Keid, S.M., to Mrs.. Caroline Thomas, who sought £300 from the North Canterbury Hospital Board. She claimed that hen she was.a patient in Christchurch Hospital she was badly burned through a hot water bottle being placed on her thigh while she was unconscious. The board had paid £100 into court. «
