LOUIS WINS AGAIN

BOUT AT PHILADELPHIA

KNOCK-OUT IN FIFTH

PHILADELPHIA, September 22.

Joe Louis, 14st 7Jib, knocked out Al. Ettore, 13st 7Jlb, in the fifth round of a scheduled 15-round bout.

Louis fought cautiously and did not open up until he was sure he had nothing to fear from Ettore, and then he quickly scored a knock-out. The negro won all the first four rounds on point margins. In the fifth round he started with a hard, two-fisted attack, which Ettore could not withstand. Two hard lefts in succession to the chin sent him Under the ropes and, although he tried desperately to rise, at the count of nine he fell back on the canvas.

Fifty thousand people witnessed the fight.
