WOMEN'S MEETINGS

NATIONAL RESERVE

The various activities of the Women's National Reserve were reported upon at an interesting meeting held recently when Mrs. L. O. H. Tripp presided. These included the Karori Memorial Cemetery, the welfare branch, and the residential nursery. Each president gave accounts of good work done and progress made. Mrs. Porter brought a message of thanks from Mrs. Guthrie, president of the welfare branch, who wished to thank all the members for the fine way in which they had carried on the work during her absence owing to indisposition. Special mention was made of the good work of Miss Wiltshire, who had done the dual work of president and secretary ' during Mrs. Guthrie's absence. Hopes were expressed that Mrs. Guthrie will soon be able to take up her good work again.
