COLLISION IN NEWTOWN

Concussion and shock were sustained by A. Smith, a cinematograph operator, of 92 Rintoul Street, when the motor-cycle he was riding collided with a motor-car shortly after 4 p.m. yesterday at the corner of Riddiford and Gordon Streets. He was taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance. The Wellington District Cocker Spaniel Club is donating a cup, to be won three times at the Wairarapa Show, for the best junior cocker spaniel, and also a special prize of 10s 6d for the best cocker spaniel under 12 months at the 1936 show. These prizes are open to members of the club.
