EVIDENCE
SYDNEY, September 14. The assistant Minister of Commerce, Mr. H. V. C. Thorby,1 states that the Commonwealth Government has communicated with the New Zealand Govr eminent intimating its willingness to place evidence before the Fruit Inquiry Committee. He added that the New South Wales delegation which has just arrived at Wellington had no power to give evidence on behalf of the Federal Government.
