PALESTINE MANDATE

(Received September 15, 9.40 a.m.) JERUSALEM, Sept. 14. Again denying responsibility for the strike and intimidation under it, the Arab Higher Committee will meet on September 17 to consider a reply to the High Commissioner following a frank talk on Saturday in which he reaffirmed Britain's prior conditions before sterner measures are taken. The committee reiterated that it has no faith in the Royal Commission appointed, and denied that stoppage of Jewish migration would be contrary to the spirit of the mandate.
