KELBURN PRESBYTERIAN
The report of the kirk session . of the Kelbufn Presbyterian Church, which will be presented at'the annual meeting of the congregation this evening,- 'States that the. Sunday services have been well attended throughout the year. Thirty-four new members were enrolled. Messrs. W. Thomson, A, Lambert, A. McDougall, and Captain McLeod were recently re-elected managers, and Messrs. D. G. Edgar and R. H. D. Hall were elected to fill the remaining vacancies. Sincere appreciation and thanks are expressed to' Mrs. Dallard for. the capaole and generous contribution she had .made to the life of the church, and to the choir for their helpful leading in the service of praise. The congregation deeply appreciated the long arid . valuable service rendered by Mr. G. Thompson, who had been associated with the teaching staff of the Sunday school for the past 22 years. The sermons of the minister, the Boy. J. S. Murray, were at all times fresh, Helpful, and uplifting,' and his pastoral work amongst the congregation was appreciated. ' ' , . ■' -.- ■ . The Board of Managers reported that in response to ,sn appeal for £60, the sum of £64 9s was received. As a result -of that effort < all the board's obligations had been met. A garage had been erected for the minister at a cost of £89. The manse and Sunday, school haUs were painted during the. year, and sundry small repairs attended to. The paths in the church grounds had been tar sealed, and by arrangement with' the City Council the main entrance to the church had been bituminised. The budget for the ensuing year had been circulated among members. ' The following office-bearers have been elected:—Session, clerk, Mr. G. W. Guthrie; secretary management committee, Mr. D. N. Redgrave; treasurer, Mr. L. B. Mushet; 'envelope secretary, Mr. H. M. Ross; organist and choir leader, Mrs. B. L. Dallard; property committee, Messrs. G. W. Guthrie, W. McLeod, J. G. Reid, J. R. Smith, G. Wilson, and W., Thomson. Encouraging reports were received of the various organisations connected with the church.
