COMMISSION MEETS

AUCKLAND, This Day,

The sitting commenced at Auckland this morning of the Commission set up by the Hon. D. G. Sullivan (Minister of Industries and Commerce) to inquire into the marketing of New Zealand-grown and imported fruit and vegetables. The proceedings are not open to the public, though evidence will be taken from those whose interests are involved. The members of the Commission, Messrs. A. Coleman (Stratford), J. A. Campbell (Director of Horticulture), and J. E. Thomas (Department of Industries arid- Commerce), arrived from Tauranga last night.
