TITAHI AND SHANDON

Titahi will meet Shandon in the Watt Cup series on Saturday, on the Shandon course. The match between Marchant and Hayward should be a close one, if Marchant plays up to form, but Shandon are a hard team to beat on their own links, and the others will have some tough opposition.

Dave Kirkcaldie, of Titahi. is a player who could bring his handicap down rapidly if he were not more keen on his club than on himself. He hits a long ball, and can play some good stuff when he hits' form, but he'prefers to caddy for Bill Marchant in the Watt Cup matches.
