special: train arranged
An 'announcement that a special train would be run to Auckland -for the benefit of. Association football followers who wish to. see Waterside play the North Island final, of the Chatham: Cup competition against- Auckland Thistle at Blandford Park on Saturday week, was made by Mr. J. Colemanat last night's meeting, of the management committee of the Wellington Football Association. He said "that the train would l^ave here about 7.30 p.m. on Friday, August 14, and arrive back at 6;45 a.m. on the Monday following. Fixtures for August 15 were made as follows:—First. A Division: Petone v. Institute; Marist v. Diamond. First B Division:' ' Technical 0.8. ,v.: -Lower Hutt; Scottish. Wanderers -v-.v Nada; Island Bay v. Onslow; Miramar Rang, ers- win by default from Rover^.
