(Special' from "Hurry On.")

Brilliancy was sent once round, sprinting up the straight. He is a smooth-actioned horse and is building up, steadily. He will make his next appearance in the. maiden events at the Hunts Meeting. .<
Court Anna did steady pace work on the plough. He is looking bright and well and in good order for the coming season.
Red Sand and Mustang were let off with easy tasks. The former.-is bearing a healthy appearance. The Miss Cute and' Seynora fillies did useful pace work on the inside grass. H. Dulieu has these two-year-olds well forward.
, Card Sharper, who has settled down well, did half-pace work in company With the Captain Bunsby gelding. Card Sharper is a nice'mover. The Bronze Eagle—Madam Ristpri filly was exercised on the inner. She is on the small side but is beautifully .moulded and looks as though she will come to hand quickly. ■
High Test and Tombana were responsible for a good effort in running five furlongs in lmin .61sec. They ran the first two in 25sec and the.three in 38sec. , They were -slowing up a little at the finish buf it was a good gallop for maidens. '
Calshot strode over a circuit' at a little better than three-quarter pace. He hit out boldly and continues to make splendid progress. Ngatirahiri was given a working ■ gallop over a mile. He worked rather lazily and does better in company. Winsome Lv and Carleaf were on terms at the conclusion.of half a mile in 54Jsec, Both were going comfortably and Carleaf showed improvement in his previous efforts..
Aussie Ha 'and Davistock .were anxious to increase the pace in a working gallop over six. furlongs. Aussie Ra, who looks a much-improved horse, continues to.do all that is asked of him in good style. / . : Script jumped four hurdles cleanly. He is shaping well as-a jumper but needs company, and the arrival, of Kaola will probably provide him with a mate.
Bonny Glow completed a round of pace work by running the last three furlongs at a good three-quarter pace. She is coming to hand nicely. Fersen (Gray) was too good for Clessamor (Clifford) over half a mile in 53Jsec. The first two furlongs were not particularly fast, taiking 26sec, but Fersen came home.full of running to beat Clessamor by a good length. It was an impressive effort on the part of Fersen, who had his companion's measure at all stages of the journey. They commenced from practically a standing start and Fersen jumped off very smartly. :.
H. Dulieu Suffered a stroke of ill luck when his promising three-year-old Bon Sante died on Monday. -Bon Sante raced at Marton and Awapuni, but on his return- did not do well. Last week a veterinary surgeon . was called in, but though every effort was made.it was of no avail. A postmortem disclosed that he had broken two ribs when he fell in a race at Wopdville last April. Bon Sante was a big gelding by .Tea:, Tray from Nassau Lady and was bred by the Te Awamutu sportsman Mr. A. 'Rowan, from whom. Dulieu held him oh lease. Dulieu had a big opinion of the youngster. Chief Marionette ■ accompanied Silk Sox and company on the trip south. She is to be sent •' on to the. Elderslie Stud to be mated with Iliad.
