PERMANENT FORCE
OLD COMRADES' ASSOCIATION -
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Permanent Force Old Comrades' Association (Wellington section) was held recently, a large number of old comrades being, present.
The' report and balance-sheet were adopted. It was noted from the former that considerable progress had been made, and from the latter that a very satisfactory credit balance was in hand.
IV was decided to establish a benevolent fund.
After consultation with the Auckland section —the parent body, which drafted the constitution—the matter of varying certain clauses to suit local conditions came up for discussion, and was approved.
The date of the next reunion was fixed for the Saturday immediately preceding Labour Day.
Two ex-members of the R.N.Z.A.— Messrs. E. W. Scott, of PalmersTbn North, and R. V. Logic, of Christchurch —were given a warm welcome to the meeting by their comrades of former days.
