Possessing a slightly faster set of backs, Napier gained a five-point lead in the nrst spell, which revealed many good rearguard movements. The forwards - were evenly matched, both packs at times being slow in following un kicks. Although forced on the defensive frequently. ■ Napier scored another eight points after the interval, the ' final score being 21-8. ■- .;
