THE TEA MARKETS
According to private advices received.in Wellington, the Colombo tea market this .week was a little irregular for common teas. Mediums were strong to dearer, and fine teas followed quality.
The Calcutta market was very strong and active, prices advancing id to' id a pound.
The London market was strong to dearer. *
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, July 15. Mr. L. M. Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea sale of July 14: —At yesterday's auction of 2,000,0001b, common teas were sold at |d under last week's rates. Medium types were slightly dearer, and fine grades were irregular, following quality. Next week's sale is catalogued for 2,375,0001b.
