VISITING FOOTBALL TEAM

DUNEDIN, June 30.

The visiting Australian Association footballers, who are to play an Otago representative team tomorrow afternoon and a New Zealand team at Logan Park next Saturday, were tendered a civic reception by the Mayor, Rev. E. T. Cox, this morning. There was a large gathering present, including the president, Mr. E. J. Anderson, and members of the Otago Football Association and representatives of kindred sports bodies.

Mr. S. A. Storey, manager of the team, replied to the Mayor's, speech of welcome.
