As a result of a fall at 9.20 last night R. Billman, of 18 Salek Street, Kilbirnie, received injuries to the nose, and shock. He was taken to the hospital by the Free Ambulance. Two minor outbreaks of fire were dealt with by the Wellington Fire Brigade last night. The first call came at 8.16 to a storeroom at 12 Marion Street, owned and occupied by Mr. F. S. Driller, indent agent. Little damage was done. At 9.10 p.m., a second call was received from the Self-Help Co-op., Ltd., in Caledonia Street, Miramar. A fire in an outbuilding was quickly extinguished with little damage.
