MONDAY'S WRESTLING.
A wrestling matcn or unusuai interest will be staged in the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night, the contestants being Jack Forsgren, of Canada, and "Lofty" , Blomfield, of Auckland, the match thereby having an intercolonial flavour. Furthermore, the match is as nearly as possible a "grudge" contest, as the results of previous meetings have been far from satisfactory to either party, although providing rare entertainment for the spectators. A contest between men such as Forsgren and Blomfield means that sparks are liable to fly at any moment, as both men are aggressive wrestlers who give ind take hard knocks in any circumstances. Blomfield, who has made only one appearance here so far this season, is now the accredited New Zealand-born champion, and he has his, eyes on the greater honour that would go with the Empire title. He has given McCready some exceedingly close calls for that distinction in the past, and it will not be long before he will be seeking another chance to advance his claims. His performance against Forsgren, who had McCready working his hardest, will therefore be watched witty close attention. Particulars are advertised.
