COMPLAINT NOT UPHELD

RUGBY UNION DECISION MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETS Complaint by the Miramar Rugby Football Club against having to play on the Johnsonville ground was not upheld by the Wellington Rugby Union last night. Miramar's application for the matcn against Johnsonville, scheduled for Saturday, and to be played either at the Polo Ground or on a neutral field, was inspired by circumstances allegedly compelling it, for the last four years, to play Johnsonville on its own ground. The rise to first grade of Johnsonville in each year had precluded the possibility of a second round meeting on the Miramar ground.

"We have lost a new ball each year at Johnsonville, and application both to them and to the union has never had the desired result," said the Miramar letter.- -

The union decided to inform Miramar that it was too late to change the match and that last year was the only year Johnsonville rose a grade. The union had no knowledge of applications for balls. . Fixtures for Saturday week were approved as follows: —
