OBITUARY
MR. DAVID RITCHIE
The many friends of Mr. David Ritchie will learn with regret of his death, which occurred on Wednesday, at his late residence, Owen Street; Wellington.' : .'■ ..-. ■;
' Mr. Ritchie,.'whose parents arrived from Scotland in the early sixties, was born at Christchurch in 1865. He came to Wellington as a young man and for several years was in business as a furniture manufacturer/ and latterly as a draper. He was at one time a member of the Old Naval Volunteers and also a prominent member of the Masonic Order, being a Past Master of Leinster, Lodge 44. Mr. Ritchie is survived by two daughters,; Mrs. I. B. James and Miss E.-Ritchie, and one son, Mr. D. V. Ritchie, .all of Wellington. Mr. J. Ritchie, of Nelson, and Mr. G. Ritchie,, of Melbourne, are brothers.
