TWO NEW CLUBS
Affiliation was granted to the Wellington Indian Sporting Club and Taubmans Sporting, Club at a meeting of the .Wellington Hockey Association on Friday night. The Indian Club intends entering a team, consisting solely of local Hindus, in the third grade competition this season. It was announced that the following grounds will be available this year:— Karori (6), Naenae (3), Northland (1), Kilbirnie (1), Crawford Green (1), Petone (1), Hutt (1), and Pirie Street (1).
The season will be officially opened next Saturday. Permission was granted to the Huia Club to send a team to Levin on; Wednesday to participate in the Horowhenua Association's five-a-side tourna-' ment.
The following publicity committee; was set up:—Messrs. C. P. McKenzie! (chairman), S. B. Browne, D. Foster, and V. A. Judd.
