DOCTOR'S EXPERIENCE

DANNEVIRKE, This Day.

While Dr. J. R. Boyd, of Wellington, was travelling to Wellington -from Dannevirke on Friday evening his car skidded when approaching a wooden bridge about three miles from Danne; virke. It crashed through the wooden railings and landed in about three feet of water. . .■'■■;

Dr. Boyd received a wound.on one of his legs and was brought to Dannevirke. where he received temporary attention, by a passing motorist. Later he went to Palmerston North, en route to Wellington, by motor-car.

Fortion of the bridge rail penetrated the car as far as the dashboard and the car was badly damaged. .
