Senator Macartney Abbott, on his return from New Zealand, said he felt confident that with the Labour Party in power in the New Zealand Parliament there was no use for alarm, since the party seemed to possess the support of the more moderate elements of the community. Mr Abbott added that he believed the Dominion's, new Parliament contained much good material. He did not think that the slight anxiety. which had arisen as a result of the Government taking over the Res?r^ r ß|± °* New Zealand was justified. Mr. Savage seemed to be alive to the necessity of moderation in virtually all legislative matters. __——
