Each' team has a .win to its credit and as' 'the' third match (played at Auckland'last year) resulted in a drawn game, there should be more than usual' interest in this year's match.

The following team-has been selected to represent the Wellington Harbour Board.—:M. Henderson (captain), H. Prince, S. Cutts, A. McLean, K. MeDonald, W. Reeve, L. Myers, J. McLellan, C. Alexander, A. Cornfoot, M. Ahem, and G.. Welch (twelfth man) with Mr, N. A. Ingram as ..manager.

Mr. W. Brooke-Smith, the .well-known New Zealand cricket representative, will be the manager of the Auckland team, which is reported to be an exceptionally strong combination, having recently won the Bgrade championship of the Auckland City and Suburban League's competition. The Auckland captain (L. Breese) has registered a fine performance this season .in compiling over, 600 runs, and L. Martin, the,'team's slow bowler, was also in excellent form in capturing 88 wickets at an average.of 7 runs a wicket.

As several of the Wellington players have also performed prominently this season, indications point to keen, and attractive cricket.

The Auckland party will be accorded an official welcome on Saturday morning by fee chairman of the Wellington Harbour Board (Mr. T. R. Barrer), the general manager (Mr. A. G. Barnett), and Captain P. S. Peterson (president of the W.H.B. Sports and Pastimes Club).

The presentation of the shield to the winning team will be made by the donor of the shield (Mr. A. G. Barnett) at a social function in the club's room on Monday evening.
