MENZEL ON TENNIS
RETIREMENT ANNOUNCED
(Received April 7, 10 a.m.) ALEXANDRIA, April 6. R. Menzel (Czechoslovakia), ■ who played in a tennis tournament here announced that he has played in his last competition. He states: "Tennis is a whole-time job and I cannot afford it. I must devote my time to writing." Menzel won the singles from Henkel (Germany), 3-6, 6-2, 5-7, 6-0, 6-4.
