CUBA WITHDRAWS
DAVIS CUP COMPETITION
MELBOURNE, April 6,
The secretary of the Australian Lawn Tennis Association has been advised that Cuba has withdrawn from the 1936 Davis Cup competition, with the result that Australia automatically enters the final of the American zone, meeting the winner of the United States-Mexico tie.
