SCOTS COLLEGE DANCE
SUCCESSFUt FUNCTION
The Parents' Association of Scots College held its first dance of the 1936 season in the school gymnasium on Saturday night. These dances were commenced some six years ago as a means of augmenting the association's funds, which are devoted to school improvements. The objective this year is to build dressing accommodation round the school baths.
The gymnasium was gaily decorated with bunting and greenery, and bright and inspiring music was supplied by a good orchestra. The ladies of the association provided a delectable home-made supper, and the attendance was very gratifying to all concerned. The - following committee was responsible for the excellent arrangements:—Mrs. W. Burton (convener), Mrs. J. A. Foster (secretary), Mesdames H. R. Biss, G. Anderson, J. G. Hill, T. Booker, A. L. Wall, W. H. Campbell, and G. D. McEwen.
