OBITUARY
MR. R. A. SHELTON
After an illness lasting a month* Mr. Raymond Arthur Shelton, - onljfc son of Mr. A. Shelton (formerly Chiei Postmaster at Palmerston North), diea at Blenheim last week. Mr. Sheltoi^ who was only 31, was a prominent Wel4j lington yachting enthusiast, being * member of the Royal Port Nicholsow Yacht Club and a representative oS that club in the Sanders Cup contest at Auckland in 1930. At the Auckland Grammar School and Napier Boys* High School, which he attended, h#. was a distance runner of much more than average ability. The interment] took place at Kelvin Grove Cemetery? the pallbearers being members of thd Land and Income Tax Department, "Wellington, where he had been em* ployed until last year. :
