ARRIVAL IN WELLINGTON
Just a brief visit to'New-Zealand to see her mother, Mrs.. J. Scobie Mackenzie, of Tinakori Road^-that is the sole object of Mrs. S. S. Moore, better known as Sheila Mac Donald, creator of "Sally, in Rhodesia," who arrived in Wellington today by the Tainui'from Southampton. Dressed in brown''and carrying a black and white check overcoat, she brought with her the personality and charm that one would expect in so popular a writer, but she' had little to say. , ■ ,
She had'no books.in view, she : :said, and no mission in New Zealand other than seeing her mother. ' Her . stay would be limited to three weeks', 'after which she would. return to South Africa. V Mrs. Moore was met on. her arrival by her brother, Lady Hunter, ariti.Miss Nellie Donovan, Lady Hunter and Miss Donovan representing the New Zealand Women Writers' and Arts Society.
