FAMILY CRICKET
TWO TEAMS OF SAME NAME
SYDNEY, March 31,
A unique cricket match was played at the North Coast town of Billinudgel, the whole 22 players being named Plater. All are direct descendants of Thomas Plater, who migrated from England to the Clarence River in 1845.
The families of the players, numbering more than 100, gathered in the local hall in the evening for a reunion.
