Owing to Hhe coldness of the weather it has been decided to abandon for this season the swimming contest for the Nash Cup, which was. to have been held last evening in Riddiford Baths. The only race last evening was the 100 yds handicap, the second distance in the Beasley Cup contest. The race resulted: H. Wright, scr, 1;B. Mclnnes, Bsec, 2; H. Warburton. 3sec, 3. Time, 66 l-ssec.
