The Wellington provincial croquet tournament-was continued today under somewhat trying conditions, the wind interfering with play to a considerable extent. .-. The following are the results of the games played this morning:— ASSOCIATE CHAMPIONSHIP. First Life. —Mrs. McGirr defeated Mrs. Burd, 26-17;. Mrs. Henderson defeated Miss Card, 26-12. Second Life.—Miss McKenzie defeated Mrs. Woodley, 26-22; Mrs. Hogan defeated Mrs. Cleland, 26-5; Mrs. Walker defeated Mrs. Burd, 26-17; Mrs. Mouat defeated Mrs. Lindsay, 26-12. . LEVEL SINGLES. First Life.—Mrs. Jackson defeated Mrs. Dempsey, 26-17. Second Life.—Mrs. Dempsey defeated Mrs. Pickard, 26-9; Mrs. Sivyer defeated Mrs. Sinclair; Mrs. Faulkner defeated Mrs. Orsborn, 26-5. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES. Mesdames Chetwin and Walker defeated Mesdames Mouat and Lees, 26-13. HANDICAP SINGLES. No. 1 Section. Mrs. Hogan defeated Miss McKenzie, 26-23; Mrs. Sivyer defeated Mrs. Monks, 26-9; Mrs. Walker defeated Mrs. Bradnock, 26-19. No. 2 Section.
