THE PUBLIC SERVICE

ANNUAL TOURNEY

Although a blustery, erratic wind was blowing this morning when the Public Service bowling tournament was commenced on the Hataitai, Thorndon, and Kelburn greens, the playing areas were in good order and some excellent play took place in the first two rounds. Another three rounds will be played this afternoon and section ties decided. The final games will take place on the Hataitai green tomorrow, commencing at 1.30 p.m. The games are of thirteen heads.
