PARKING IN KINGSFORD SMITH STREET

(To the Editor.)

Sir,—l would like to draw the attention of the City Council authorities to the serious state of affairs that exists as the result of the parking of motorcars in Kingsford Smith Street on Sundays and holidays. At each end of the above street notices are displayed prohibiting parking, but these notices might just as well not be there for all the good they are doing. Sooner or later there will be a.serious smash. To put a traffic inspector on the job at once and keep the traffic on the move is all that is required.—l am, etc.,

PEDESTRIAN.
