ANNUAL BALANCE-SHEET
/£u c a.nnual report and balance-sheet of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Limited, for the year ended October 31, 1935, which will be presented to shareholders at the forty-eighth annual general meeting on February 12, shows that, as disclosed in the preliminary statement already published net profit amounted to £75,670 8s 7d compared with £90,952 11s 6d for the previous period. Dividend on paid-up capital is unchanged at 5£ per cent The report states that extensive additions have been made at the Burnside works in order to cope with the increased supplies in the district; and of this expenditure, £20,000 has been charged against the rebuilding reserve created last year.
