The British freighter Forth Bridg« is uncontrollably on fire off North Japan. The ship's company, numbering 32, has taken to the lifeboats. The salvage ship Kahoku Maru has a> rived, but has not yet sighted the lifeboats and is unable to approach ths Forth Bridge owing to the fierceness of the flames. A Japanese torpedoboat is also participating in the. search.
