OLD NAVALS CLUB

The Old Navals Rifle Club fired their first shoot in the third series at Trentham on Saturday at 900 yards. Conditions were very bad. M. Monk and R. Dawson, with 87, 86, were top scorers off the rifle.

Following are the scores:— M. Monk 43 44 — 87 R. Dawson 44 42 — 86 M. Hugo 40 41 3 84 F. Standage ~. 45 35 4 84 R. Johns, 41, 39, 4—84; J. Pitt, 42, 38, 2—82; M. O'Grady. 35, 38, 7—80; J. Bell, 38, 35, 7—80; W. Mcßain, 42, 37— 79; P.. Congrives, 39, 36, 2—77; T. McGill, 39, 35, 2—76; R. Congrives, 35, 40—75; F. Franklyn, 31, 41—72; G. Thomas, 41, 31—72; J. Stevens, 33, 33, 1—67; D. Robertson, 29, 25, 12—66. This club will hpld a field day on Wednesday, shooting for the Holiday Cup over all-ranges. Shooting will start at' 9 a.m. sharp. Next Saturday s shoot will be at 900 yards/ .
