The swhsiming season at the Coronation Baths, Levin, was officially opened on Wednesday by the Mayor of Levin, Mr. P. W. Goldsmith. There was a good attendance. The races resulted as follows:— 25yds Junior Girls.—Final: May Mackenzie, 1; Jill Hudson, 2; Dorothy Smaill, 3.
25yds Junior Boys.—H. Robertson (scr), 1; J. Hughes (3sec), 2; L. Jacob (2sec), 3.
50yds Intermediate Boys.—Final: R. Dixon, 1; R. Jacob, 2; R. Higson, 3. 25yds Ladies.—C. Ryder, 1; M: Mackenzie, 2; J. Dwyer, 3. 50yds Men's Handicap.—Final: J. Hayfield; 1; P. Chrisp, 2; 5. Thomas, 3. 50yds Open Breaststroke.—J. Keedwell (2sec), 1; D. Thomas (scr), 2; Miss J. Wilhams (lOsec), 3. Open Dive.—R. Jacob, I; R. Dixon 2: J. George, 3.
