CHILDREN'S CONCESSION FARES
(To the Editor.) Sir,—Your correspondent, "R," is surely voicing the views of many of us when he suggests that the age for children"s concession fares be raised from 12 to 15 years. Once the age of twelve is reached, for many, a new set of hardships begins. Not only do the parents have to .scheme afresh and plan how best to rob some erstwhile necessity to meet the new demand, but the children themselves must suffer a lean time compared with what is their due. This is a matter which should receive the consideration of our various controlling bodies. I trust that the Wellington City Council may give its earnest, attention to the bringing about of a much-needed reform.—l. am, etc. • \. .W.M..
