SYDNEY, December 9. ■ The .wool sales were resumed today ■when 13,014 bales were offered and 11,469 sold, 1872 privately. ; There was good general competition, but in sympathy with .the recentlyreported easier trend in other Australian centres and in . London, ~. the ; market, compared with the closing levels at the previous Sydney series, was from par to 5 per cent, lower. - Greasy merino sold to 23d.

Average prices month by month in the.Sydney wool market this season which opened on September 7 at 12.9 d per lb, have been as follows: —September 28, 11.7 d; October 13, 13d; November 2, 13.7; November 30, 14.8 d.
