(Received December 7,10 a.m : ) MONTREAL, December 6. The Premier of Alberta (Mr. "W. Aberhart) repudiates his pledge to pay 25 dollars a month to all citizens of Alberta as a social credit dividend. He states that the expression is only a figure of speech, and that the. amount to be paid is not known, and probably will be given in food and clothing only. Mr. Aberhart previously stated that the bonus would not be paid if it threatened Alberta with bankruptcy.
