TOMORROW'S PROGRAMME. ,
A recital will be given on the National War Memorial Carillon, Buckle Street, tomorrow evening, commencing at 8.30 o'clock, when the carillonist will play the following programme:— 1. Westminster Chimes. 2. Hymn, "Rock of Ages." 3. "How Can I Leave Thee" (Thuringian Folksong). 4. "I Dreamt that I Dwelt" (Wallace), electro-pneumatic keyboard. 5. "The Merry Peasant" (Schumann). 6. Hymn, "Fierce Raged the Tempest." "7. "Cavatina" (Raff). 8. "Humoreske" (Dvorak). 9. Hymn, "Jesu, Lover of My Soul." 10. Changes on eight bells (electropneumatic keyboard). 11. National Anthem. CAPTURE OF JERUSALEM. On Monday evening, commencing at 8.30 o'clock, the carillonist will,play the following programme in commemoration of the capture of Jerusalem in 1917 by General Allenby's army, in which the New Zealand Mounted Rifles Brigade played such a prominent part:— 1. Westminster Chimes. 2. "Men of Harlech." 3. "On the Banks of Allan Water." 4. "The Rosary" (Nevin) . 5. "Sally in Our Alley." 6 ."Ye Banks and Braes." 7. "Swanee Ribber." 8. "Palestine," the N.Z.M.R. Bell (sounded eight times). 9. National Anthem.
