. Golf that would have secured attention at a national meeting was produced during the weekend. E. S. Toogood, in the semi-finals of the Wellington Club senior championship yesterday, turned in a 68, 34 each way, and C. E. Hollis, in a Shandon competition on Saturday, turned in a similar card, going out in 36, with a six in it, and coming back in the remarkable figures pf 32.
