The Hutt Valley Cricket Association's selectors (Messrs. H. N. Jones, J. Boult, J. Wilson) have invited the following players to attend the practice nets in view of the representative matches during the Christmas and New Year holiday period:—

At Trafalgar Park on Wednesday, December 11, at 6 p.m.: B. Spencer, A. Cullimore (Taita); J. H. Lapworth, R. Clunie, T. Thorn, H. Webster (Trafalgar Park); G. Futter (Epuni); B. Eckoff, B. Morris, E. Ord, W. Blackwood (Bell Park); J. Harvey, J. Dunn, R. Brown, N. Gilligan, H. N. Jones (Meadows); W. Trilford (Todd Motors). Players not available for the Christ-mas-New Year matches are to notify the secretary of the association without delay.
