NEGATIVE RESULT
AEROPLANE RETURNS
SYDNEY, November 22. The Minister oi Defence announced that he had received advice from AirCommodore Sidney Smith at Singapore that a Qantas mail aeroplane this afternoon searched Sayer Island in the vicinity of where the u'ares were seen by the captain of the steamer Pasha j with a negative result. The Minister added that the headmen oi tribes in Mr-.laya had done everything possible to locate the missing airmen.
